Thon Maker embraces the big moments

No matter what, I think he embraces the big moment and he’s confident that he’s put in the work.

Against Detroit, he hit a couple of big shots down the stretch and made some big defensive plays as well, so everyone was pretty excited for him because he’s been cheering everyone else on all year and it’s great to see him continue to get better and better.

It doesn’t matter that he’s a rookie; he’s a really good shooter, so it doesn’t matter how old you are or how long you’ve been in the NBA. If you’re open you should shoot it.

I think everyone saw that from Giannis in the post-game interview which was pretty funny, telling Thon that if he hesitated in OT he was going to punch him.
